Tuesday is usually indoor soccer night for Tony Romo, so it came as a surprise to us to find him catching a high school basketball game in Anna, Texas, a town of 8,600 approximately 44 miles north of Dallas.
That’s his wife, Candice, and the two cops who were guarding him from rabid high school students at the Nevada Community vs. Anna game. It looks like quite the romantic night amongst empty seats at some random high school game. Why was Tony hanging out at a scrub high school? According to Twitter tipsters, Tony is friends with one of the Anna coaches.
As for the game, Nevada Community (9-9) jumped out to a fast 15-9 first quarter lead and held on for a 44-39 victory. Anna drops to 7-16; 0-3 in the district.
